know limits Enneagram training

The Enneagram is a study of the 9 basic types of people. It explains why we behave the way we do, and it points to specific directions for individual growth. It is an important tool for improving relationships with family, friends and work colleagues. The roots of the enneagram go back many centuries and has been synthesized from many different traditions. One of the great strengths of the enneagram is that it steps aside from all doctrinal differences. It is a guide to self-observation and self-inquiry NOT a prescription.

Enneagram Profiling personality tool

The Enneagram is a framework for understanding relationships with:

  • Yourself

  • Your associates and work colleagues

  • Your team and Organisation

  • Intimates such as partner and kids

The key to any successful relationship is the ability to communicate effectively with others. Yet communication can often be difficult if personality type is not taken into consideration. This is because people tend to believe that others think the same way they do, although this is not always the case.

what do our clients say?

"In attending Enneagram training it gave me time to reflect on my actions and how they have hindered my development moving forward.

I found Mandy held the space well, especially when some feelings of anger and frustration emerged.

As well as the Enneagram approach Mandy uses a range of materials and techniques which I welcomed. I found Mandy to be attentive and astute in her ‘wonderings’. She is warm and friendly and has a fun and mischievous playful personality. This helped me to not take myself too seriously at times.

I would whole heartedly choose Mandy’s Training and Coaching in the Enneagram."

-RW, DRAMATHERAPIST

“I found the Enneagram tool to be enlightening and helped me to reflect on myself in a different way.

Mandy was very supportive and offers a listening ear. But also challenged me about how I felt and what, in my heart of hearts I wanted from my situation and our sessions.

Mandy challenged me rather than judge me, which helped me to move myself forward as a leader. It also helped me approach some challenging situations and conversations. I have very much appreciated the sessions with Mandy.

Having recorded a podcast for the Diocese of Norwich about ‘Saving Graces’, I can see that the sessions with Mandy were part of my Saving Graces. Thank you!” - BELINDA ALLEN, EXECUTIVE HEADTEACHER

Mandy Gutsell hosted and presented the Event Creating Courageous Coaching Conversations for Association for Coaching 11th June 2020

I found her style of delivery to be warm, clear and informative. I particularly loved how she dealt with the slide share challenge and it made me really warm to her from the start! I also really enjoyed her personal sharing of her own challenges as it brought the session to life. I always enjoy time in breakout rooms so that really worked for me too.

-Julia hayward; Director of Daisy Chain Consulting Ltd

“Mandy has been my supervisor since April 2021. She is creative in her approach to supervision & has a wealth of experience & depth of understanding of clinical practice. I really appreciate the fresh perspective, challenging questions & encouragement she
offers as we explore my work. I’m so glad I found her! “

-Anita Worcester, Dramatherapist, Coach, Supervisor.

“As a life coach, I attended one of Mandy’s workshops and found it to be informative and thought-provoking.

Mandy put forward her ideas with clarity and we were given plenty of time to work in pairs and groups, which was very useful.

Being willing to be vulnerable, honest and to be aware of the feelings and non-verbal language both in the client and the coach was explored.

I found the training helpful as it helped me to reflect on the topic of vulnerability in my own coaching sessions.

I would recommend Mandy’s workshops and training, particularly for opening up conversations around attitudes and behaviours that ensure as a Coach I give the best to my clients'.”

-Sarah field, Life coach

"Over time I have received personal, group therapy and understanding of how the Enneagram works in my life.

I found Mandy to be very warm, authentic and sensitive to my needs.

She challenged and stretched me when it was appropriate, while still making me feel at ease.

I have developed immensely as a person. I have more confidence, and more assertive and honest with my feelings and opinions. This has led me onto having successful relationships and bringing those relationships I already had onto a much deeper and more authentic level.

By examine myself and improving my self awareness this has impacted upon those around, improving not only my life but theirs.

The development of my self awareness and understanding why I do the things I do has given me an invaluable tool in my ongoing development.

I have realised that I am not perfect and have allowed myself to make mistakes as there are valuable lessons to be learnt from them.”
